Every transfer is private and air-conditioned. Choose by passengers and luggage; the fixed fare for your route never changes with the clock.
These are the six vehicle classes that run every Haramain Stays transfer, operated with our sister service UmrahRide VIP at the same published fixed fares. The class you book is the class you get — model named or an equivalent of the same size and comfort — and every fare on our route pages is quoted in that class, per vehicle, before you travel.
A note on the names pilgrims use: when families ask for a GMC, they mean the Family SUV class below — GMC Yukon XL or Chevrolet Tahoe class. When groups ask for a Coaster, the honest answer is that our largest single vehicle is the 11-seat Hiace; bigger parties ride in two coordinated vehicles rather than one bus, which keeps boarding faster and the fare per family lower.
The default choice for couples and small families: a modern, air-conditioned sedan with a proper boot, quiet on the highway and easy to step in and out of at hotel doors and airport kerbs. On the long Makkah to Madinah road it cruises comfortably at four passengers with standard luggage.
Best for: Couples, solo pilgrims and small families on airport and intercity legs.

A newer-model sedan with a calmer, quieter cabin and a little more legroom — the class frequent travellers and business pilgrims pick when the four-to-five-hour intercity drive is part of the journey, not just a ride. Hybrid models sip fuel and run especially smoothly in city traffic.
Best for: Long intercity drives, business travellers, and anyone who values a quieter cabin.

The big American SUV is the family favourite of the holy-cities routes: three rows of seats, a high driving position elders find easy to climb into, and a luggage hold that swallows the suitcases, zamzam boxes and shopping of a full family Umrah. This is the GMC-class vehicle pilgrims ask for by name.
Best for: Families of five to seven, elders who prefer a higher seat, and heavy luggage.

A modern lounge-style van with wide sliding doors and a tall, airy cabin — seven pilgrims travel together with room to spare, and the sliding doors make mosque-side and hotel-forecourt boarding effortless for elders and children. For its size it is often the best-value class in the fleet.
Best for: Groups of five to seven who want to ride together in one vehicle.

The high-roof Hiace is the group workhorse: eleven seats, headroom you can stand up in while boarding, and a luggage bay that takes a full group's bags without stacking them on laps. Umrah parties, mosque groups and multi-family bookings run their whole itinerary in one Hiace.
Best for: Groups of eight to eleven, tour parties and multi-family bookings.

The chauffeur-grade option: flagship sedans and top-trim SUVs with the softest ride in the fleet, extra legroom and a driver briefed for a discreet, unhurried journey. Chosen for honouring parents, for honeymoon Umrah trips, and by guests who want the road between the two cities to feel like part of the occasion.
Best for: Special occasions, honouring parents, and guests who want the finest ride available.

Count your passengers, then count your large bags. Four or fewer of each: a sedan. Five to seven people: the Family SUV if you want the high seat and luggage room, the Staria if you want everyone in one lounge-style cabin. Eight to eleven, or a mountain of luggage: the Hiace. And if the journey itself is the occasion — parents being honoured, a honeymoon Umrah — the Luxury Class earns its name on the long intercity road.
Still unsure? Send us your group size and luggage on WhatsApp and we will recommend the smallest class that keeps everyone comfortable — never the priciest.
Start with two numbers: how many passengers, and how many large bags. Up to four travellers with standard luggage fit a sedan; five to seven belong in the Family SUV, the Staria or — with lots of luggage — the Hiace; groups of eight to eleven take the Hiace. On the long Makkah–Madinah road, comfort matters as much as capacity, so if you are between classes we usually suggest going one class up.
You receive the model named for the class or an equivalent of the same class, seats and luggage capacity — a Camry-class sedan for Economy Sedan, a Yukon-class SUV for Family SUV, and so on. The class, capacity and fixed fare are guaranteed even if the badge on the day differs.
Eleven is the largest single-vehicle capacity in the fleet. Bigger parties travel in two coordinated vehicles — often a Hiace plus a Staria or SUV — timed to leave and arrive together, with one coordinator managing both cars. Message us with your group size and we will plan the combination.
Yes, and many families do: a comfortable sedan or SUV for the airport and intercity legs, then a Staria or Hiace for Ziyarat days when relatives join the party. Booked in one WhatsApp plan, we sequence the vehicles around your prayers and flights.
One conversation covers your hotels in both cities and every transfer between them. Hotel prices are quoted live for your dates — no stale printed rates, no obligation to book.
